Hello journal! This is my first entry in you, though I have kept a journal for quite many years now. It's just that the memory on them tends to get filled up so quickly. I've got an entire shelf full of these datapads! *sigh*
Guess I just talk to much, eh?
Anyway, I guess I better start talking about the more important stuff now. I can't afford to fill up journal after journal with loads of loose talk, can I now?
So, I got up at 4.45 AM as usual today and took a shower, which was nice seeing as I just haven't had the time for such things during the last couple of days, with the experiment nearing completion and all.
After the shower I ate a protein bar. They're quite nice once one gets used to them actually. And they are far easier than to waste time making a real breakfast. While eating my protein bar I sat down in the armchair and finished watching the DVD that my brother sent me from Germany. Great film, even though the ending was quite predictable.
After this I got up and started walking towards my office in section 2D. I've just recently moved from section 5A to section 2D, so the office is still in quite a mess. Ah well, I like messes =)
On my way to the office I met Ivan, who was hurrying towards lift F while trying not to spill his steaming cup of coffee. I uttered a quick "Hi", and then continued towards my office.
I just arrived in my office, and I have just sat down in my comfy chair made out of black leather. Going to turn on my computer and get some work done now.

Jesus, the entire network is completely messed up! Some young idiot down in section 4B downloaded a Zkin-Pack for an online game which, unfortuantly for him, contained a virus which utterly disabled the whole network.
Quite good actually, seeing as it meant that I could spend the entire morning playing games and eating crisps! Who said being a programmer was hard work?
Shit, the boss is coming! Better act as if I'm working!

Hello journal!
The network is still messed up, and it seems to have taken the security system down with it. Seems like a pretty advanced virus to me.
Well, it's not my problem. I'm quite happy to sit here and relax while the guys in the Tech Section try to clean this mess up, thank you very much!
Fixing f*ck-ups in the computer system is NOT what I'm payed to do.

Ok, I'm starting to get seriously bored now!
The TV and computer monitor broke down for about half an hour ago, and the lights keep going on and off.
[Subject Listens]
Oh great! Now those morons have somehow managed to start up the emergency klaxons!
Bloody irritating noise!

If there is any God, I hope that he will have mercy on me! I'm hiding in a ventilation shaft, trying to get away from the fire and the death and the bodies. The horrible, burned bodies!
I can hardly remember anything, except for the awful explosion and the heat that came with it.
It was like being inside a burning furnace. The computer monitors and the windows melted, and the hair on my head burned. Everywhere people where burning and dying. Everybody screamed. I can still hear the screams. The screams of the dying, the screams of the wounded.
[Subject sobs]
I dragged myself by my arms to this ventilation shaft. I couldn't feel my legs. Even now, I cannot feel them. I don't dare to look down at them. I am afraid for what I may see.
Surely there will come people to rescue us? I mean, they can't just leave us here, can they?
Yes...Yes..If I wait here, I will be rescued. Yes.
[Silence]
What's that!? Something is dripping through the roof of the shaft! Wait a moment...It's orangeish..Looks alot like those strange colonies of bacteria they were conducting experiments on down in section 3E..."Galantine", I believe it was called...
It is...It is moving! Writhing up my arm...I can't get it off! It burns! My face!
[Subject screams]
